Exhibition « A Century of Sino-French Art » Gao’s Gallery × Wuhan SKP

Since the 25th, Gao’s Gallery has been holding an exhibition titled « A Century of Sino-French Art » at Rendez-Vous Gallery in Wuhan SKP Shopping Mall, China. The exhibition features 30 exquisite original works by masters such as Pablo Picasso, Zao Wou-Ki, Paul-Albert Besnard , and Chu Teh-Chun, spanning a century and encompassing various artistic styles including Impressionism, Surrealism, and Abstract Art. The exhibition will last for a month and is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors.

Wuhan is a significant inland city in China and a cultural and economic center of the country. Historically known as the « Thoroughfare to Nine Provinces, » it plays a crucial role as a hub in China’s international trade and cultural exchange. With the vast expanse of the Yangtze River and the magnificent Yellow Crane Tower, Wuhan has inspired generations of Chinese artists. It is a city rich in romance and art. Gao’s Gallery was invited to curate this exhibition, bringing a visual feast to this ancient city and its people，when SKP Shopping Mall, the world’s “king of luxury stores”, opened in Wuhan.

We selected works by several masters who have made outstanding contributions to Sino-French cultural exchange for this exhibition. The gallery design draws inspiration from Monet’s garden and Cezanne’s studio garden. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, we hope to continue the tradition of Sino-French cultural exchange. We look forward to art enthusiasts visiting this extraordinary exhibition and experiencing the unforgettable fusion of Sino-French art.

7月25日Gao’s Gallery在中国武汉SKP商场的Rendez -Vous Gallery举办了一场主题名为“中法艺术百年”的展览。展出了包括毕加索、赵无极、贝纳尔、朱德群等大师的30幅跨越百年的精品原作，涵盖了印象主义、超现实主义、抽象主义等多种艺术风格。展览将持续一个月，预计有超过5万人次观展。

武汉是中国重要的内陆城市，中国的文化经济中心，自古有“九省通衢”之称，在中国的国际贸易和文化交流中扮演了重要的枢纽角色。这里有烟波浩渺的长江水和宏伟瑰丽的黄鹤楼，启发了数代中国文人与艺术家，这是一座不缺浪漫与艺术的城市。在全球“奢侈品店王”SKP百货在武汉开业之际，Gao’s Gallery受邀策划了此次展览，为武汉这座古老的城市和武汉人民带来一场视觉盛宴。我们选择了为中法文化交流做出卓越贡献的多位大师的作品参展，展厅借鉴了莫奈花园和塞尚故居的园林设计理念，在中法建交60周年之际希望可以延续自古以来中法文化交流的传统。我们期待着艺术爱好者们莅临此次非凡展览，感受中法艺术融合带来的难忘体验。
